MIA in Singapore Marathon 2006

Life, Running @ 25 September 2006, “2 Comments”

My super-grande-procrastination once again did not fail to fail me – okay, it’s me who failed myself marvellously. Months ago, I reminded myself to register for this year’s Singapore Marathon, but after missing the deadline for early-bird discount, I’ve been doing not-doing-anything until today – the website stated that the registartion is closed with full 30,000 registrations.

What the heck, has Singaporeans’ Kiasuism reached a new high level in the last couple months? Com’mon, It’s sixty eight days away and it’s not year-end sales on orchard road! It’s put your feet on the ground and one foot in front the other and then rotate for a bloody fourty-two kilmeters and one hundred ninty two meters under the grilling sun of equator, and you folks have grabbed all the 30,000 seats already?

Alright, no more useless whining. Just see who’s more kiasu-er next year lah.

So that’s it. I will be MIA in this year’s Singapore Marathon.
